BUSINESS PLAN PRESENTATIONS

The presentations to Council  went exceptionally well. Six plans were presented, five were adopted without any modification or change. The Aquatic Services Business Plan included options on pricing policy which did not meet political acceptance. However, the longer term options set out in the Plan were accepted.

Council was appreciative of the process used to compile the Business Plans with several commenting on the positive attitude of the staff and their commitment to the Plans.

Congratulations and thanks for your contribution. I will be arranging a function to thank those people involved in the business planning process in Maroochy Shire and would appreciate your attendance if that is possible. Arrangements and details will follow at a later time.

The two biggest benefits that I have gained from implementing the Freedom Management program into my business are improved profitability and more time to spend doing what I want to do, when I want.

Freedom Management has shown me the benefits of consciously involving staff in business planning and the result is a dramatic change in my company’s culture. My staff are now more focused and there is a strong sense of empowerment in the workplace. The lines of communication between staff and myself are clear and open.
